Cokorda Krisjayanti, 29, is general manager of The Elysian boutique villas in Seminyak. A real-life princess from Peliatan Palace in Ubud, she is expecting her first baby with her husband, Benny Susanto
How’s business now compared to last year?
We only started last year so this October will be our 1st anniversary. We have increasing occupancy each month, though.
How many staff have you?
Right now more than 75.
Where is your market?
Most of our guests come from Asia, but we have Australia and Europe as well.
What makes your villas stand out?
Seminyak is well known as an area of higher standards, more so than anywhere else in Kuta district, and so we offer stylish service and facilities. We have free internet in our public areas and iPods in each room. We encourage our staff to be fashionable in following the latest trends, and all this makes us that little bit different.
What is a boutique villa?
One that has a different style and service than others, and also the facilities are more complete. We’re focused on fun, and being hip and modern. So we’re not traditional, even with our uniforms. (BT/IP)Filed under: Arts & Entertainment
