Ten out of Ten
Following the Black Box Challenge, an excellent epicurean evening of Ten Chefs serving Ten Courses was held at The Ritz-Carlton, Bali Resort & Spa for the Bali Culinary Professionals 2nd Gala Dinner. The incredibly impressive evening commenced with a Delamotte Champagne reception, where guests such as Nigel and Yani Mason, David and Lesley Campbell and Liz and Jeremy Brown were seen enjoying gourmet hors dâ€™oevres before entering the dazzling starry interior of the spectacularly decked-out ballroom.
But the real stars of the night were the chefs, including visiting guests Scott Webster from Australian Culinary Consultants and Jean Charles Dubois, chef de cuisine at Raffles Hotel in Singapore, amongst our own Stephen Wright (The Legian), Raymond Saja (Karma Resorts), Francois Seurin (Mozaic), Dean Keddell (Dava), and Torsten Schubert (Samaya), who presented a lavish feast of world-class fare accompanied by some seriously good wines from Australia, New Zealand, France and Portugal.
Seen enjoying the mile-long menu before dancing to the soundvibes of DJ SuperCozi were Andrew McLatchie, Sarah and James Sellick, Chris and Shigeko Gentry, Eric and Clara Li, Ronald de Boer, David and Gil Wilson, Robert and Ji Lagerwey, Bali Deli Boys Alex, Micha and Marc Francois, Michael Burchett and Nils Witterland.
