Sanur Beach Listed Among ‘Sexiest’

SANUR ~ Sanur Beach has been listed by Forbes Traveler as one of the world’s “sexiest” beaches, in a register that includes stretches of sand in South America, the Caribbean and the South Pacific.

Fiji’s Natadola Beach came out on top of the top 25 sexy beaches, alongside world-renowned beaches such as Copacabana and Ipanema in Rio de Janeiro, Paradise Beach on Mykonos Island and Tahiti Beach at St Tropez.

Byron Bay in Australia also made the list by the US travel special, which said it sought out the sexiest spots on the sand around the world based on the beaches that not only had a sexy look and location, but attracted the sexiest people.

Forbes listed other “party central” beaches, such as Ibiza’s Playa d’en Bossa, among the 25 sexiest, along with secluded spots for lovers such as the hard-to-find Kauapea Beach on the Hawaiian island of Kauai.

Sexy Asian beaches were Lhaviyani Atoll in the Maldives, Phang Nga Bay in Thailand and Sanur Beach in Bali.

Forbes said it found that there were clearly different kinds of “sexy” when it came to beaches, whether it was the location, the geographical beauty or the “scene” surrounding a particular beach. (BT)

I’ve been living in Sanur for about seven years and I find this statement from “Forbes Traveller” astonishing!

Of course, maybe I’m just blind but I cannot see for the life of me how they came up with that statement. I can only conclude that the people who wrote that are totally stupid. They probably haven’t even set foot in Sanur, ever.

    How insightful.

So what makes Forbes so wrong, and you so right?

  3. MO Says:

Surprising – I have seen sexier beaches in Bali.
