Celebration: Scenes from Banjar Angkan Klungkung Regency as Bali’s Hindu faithful celebrated the six-monthly Galungan festival this week. Galungan, which fell on Wednesday and is followed 10 days later by Kuningan, celebrates the triumph of good over evil and is a time when the Gods, and ancestors, descend to Earth and must be correctly entertained with offerings and prayer.
