Ubud Writers and Readers Festival

The third and final in a series of talks between Mark Ulyseas and Janet de Neefe, Asri Kerthyasa, Warwick Purser, Diana Darling, Liv Gussing and Ketut Suardana of the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival, which takes place from September 25-30

Well, we are just a few days away from the gala opening and I thought it would be sensible to stop talking and instead give a few tips on the must-see events to enable The Bali Times readers to decide which ones they should not miss.

So I went over to the festival office and cornered Janet de Neefe and confronted her with the program brochure that reads like a science textbook.

Then over a cool banana lassi at the Honeymoon Guesthouse, I jotted down the must-see events as suggested by her. However, this list in no way negates the importance of other events. Before you decide check out the festival website, www.ubudwritersfestival.com.
