Indonesia’s annual inflation rose 6.95 percent in September compared to the same period a year ago, driven by higher food and education prices but in line with expectations, data showed.
The Consumer Price Index rose 0.80 percent from August, Central Bureau of Statistics chairman Rusman Heriawan said. For the first eight months, prices jumped 4.41 percent from the same period a year earlier, he said.
