What are we here for?

For the process of searching for our own reasons for being here, it can be in the form of a personal search, a search in each other or in God.

Do you believe in the “Big Bang” theory that the now circa-13.7-billion-yar-old universe and all that’s in it was created by a massive explosion of enormously dense matter at what may have been the beginning of time?

No, I do not.

If there is a God, where is He?

Here and there, in this space also in that space.

Is there a mystery to life?

If the mystery is in the sense of “something that cannot be answered logically”, there will always be mystery in life, and also there is always the answer to the mystery.

Do you think we are alone in the universe?

No, there are many other creatures in this universe.

There is a theory that there may be parallel universes with exact copies of us—doppelgangers—doing exactly the same thing as us right now. What do you think about that?

That is not a theory. That is an assumption based on human’s faith to the greatness of God’s power and ability.

What do you think happens when people die?

When someone dies, a magnificent submission is taking place.

Where is your soul and what is it?

My soul is in my body. My soul is something that makes me alive.

Science says that all matter and energy cannot be created nor destroyed. Therefore, will our energy, in the form of our soul, live on for infinity?

I don’t understand that, I just base my view on my faith in life, that my soul will live on eternally.

Do we have any control over our lives, or is everything already mapped out, as in predefined fate?

We humans, either personally or collectively, have total control of our lives.

Some people believe that because we are made from the same matter as the universe – carbon and other elements, like nitrogen – anything we ask it will be attracted to us, popularized recently in the movie The Secret. What’s your view?

I haven’t seen that movie. However, our body is surely comprised of various matters as science says. They all are surrounding us. God has already given them before we ask for them, what we do is just try to find them.

Are we being observed?

If there is a God, why does he allow such colossal suffering of people on Earth, either through war, disease or natural disasters?

God is gracious anyway. If He gives suffering to us humans, such as war, disease or natural disaster, it does not mean that God is wicked. Wow, we have such narrow minds that we have to blame bad things in life on God. No, God is always almighty and gracious. As I said before, we humans have our own total control, either individually or collectively, in this life. Therefore, the suffering we feel is the result of our deeds.
