Some things still need to be fixed so that the country can improve and run well.

No, not yet. Some regions are suffering.
If you running the country, what three things would you fix or change immediately?
Health, education – reducing the cost, if possible – and corruption.
What do you think about Bali’s government?
Right now it’s good. For example, it controls and disciplines government workers when they come to work late and go home early.
Are you worried about outbreak of rabies that has effected some areas of Bali?
Yes, I am worried. There are many wild dogs on the roads around villages.
Indonesia is made up to more than 17,500 islands, many religions, dozens of ethnic groups and hundred of dialects. Therefore, is it reasonable to expect “Unity in Diversity,” as the founding fathers declared?
Even though there are many differences, we are united.
What are the qualities of an Indonesian?
It depends on the person and where they’re from; there are good and bad people, but mostly they are good.
What for you has been Indonesia’s greatest moment since it declared independence in 1945?
When Suharto was president, because the economy was good.
