Japanese Arrested over Drug

A Japanese man has been arrested after police allegedly found marijuana in his villa.

Hideki Kato, 43, was arrested at his villa in Dalung, North Kuta, on Tuesday, Bali Police spokesman Gede Sugianyar told reporters late on Thursday.

He said police found 4.5 grams of marijuana on the premises, and that an investigation was underway to determine if the suspect was a dealer of the banned substance or a user.

The arrest followed a tip-off from residents in the area, added Sugianyar.

Another foreigner gets busted doing weed in Bali. The Indonesian police certainly have their work cut out for them.

I was constantly offered weed in Kuta right outside my hotel, day in, day out by the same man.

Of course this clown was working secretly with the police, his “brother”, so they could split the shakedown money. What a con, what a farce
