Buleleng Regency against Development of Hotel Pop
In the regency of Buleleng the regent, Putu Agus Suradnyana, refused to cooperate for the construction of Hotel Pop in Singaraja, because for violating the coastal border.
“This is a serious matter, because the Buleleng regency has the longest coastline in Bali,” he said after inaugurating the business and shopping center at Singaraja Square.
Regent, Putu Agus Suradnyana, attended a ceremony for the construction of Hotel Pop in the complex Singaraja Square. Clearly he was not happy about that the permits are issued by the Office of Integrated Services Buleleng regency to the developer.
“The problem is that it reaches the border of the beaches. Give me a good solution,” he said.
According to him, it is better not to build the hotel in the Singaraja plaza complex, but at any other location in Buleleng regency.
Suradnyana also warned officials in the Office of Integrated Services Buleleng, because of giving permission to developers .
“We are not arrogant to provide licenses, but this development can harm the regency,” said regent Putu Agus Suradnyana. He has appointed this twice this year, on 24th of July and 24th of August.
According to him, the developer should contribute to the regency of Buleleng, either in the form of investment or in creating jobs for the local population.
Commissioner of PT Indo Global Invest Hardys, Gede Agus Hardiawan, and developer of Hotel Pop Buleleng Regency is willing to obey the demands. “We will use the rules and regulations to follow,” he said.
According to him the Buleleng regency have good business prospects. There are already 44 units sold in the shopping plaza in Singaraja. PT Indo Global Invest Hardys Bali can give work to approximately 600 people in Buleleng regency.Filed under: Headlines
