Former Regent of Buleleng Submitted to Court Corruption

SINGARAJA

Former Regent of Buleleng, Putu Bagiada who became a suspect in the alleged corruption charges (PBB) amount to R1,6 billion, was submitted by the State Attorney Singaraja to the Court of Corruption (Corruption) Denpasar.

“The establishment of detention for the suspect is still pending, while prison cells are fully occupied at Class II-B Singaraja,” said Chief of Intelligence Imam Eka Setyawan.

According to him, the suspects and the case files were received at Registrar Corruption Court in Denpasar.

Unlike the other suspects, former Head of Buleleng regency Revenue Nyoman Pastika was immediately detained in prisons Class II-A Denpasar in Kerobokan, Kuta, Badung regency, after his case was filed by Kejari Singaraja to the Corruption Court. Pastika will be having his trial at the Corruption Court Denpasar on the 28th of November 2012.
