Pastika Proposed Three Conditions of Coalition

Made Mangku Pastika proposed three conditions to the coalition party which will propose him as the candidate of Bali Governor for the second time in the Governor Election on the following May.

To the journalists in Denpasar, Pastika stated those three conditions, that is, no money politic, no violence and no black campaign.

“I propose those three conditions to the coalition party and those three things are already agreed,” he said.

According to him, the reason of proposing those three conditions, firstly no violence because Bali is expected to stay safe and peace in carrying out the local election.

In addition, “money politic” should not be done because he wants this election provides process and learning of clean politics and democracy to Balinese people.

Black campaign is really expected not to exist in an election which takes him as a candidate of governor through a coalition of Demokrat, Golkar, Gerindra, Hanura and PAN.

“Coalition Parties that agree to choose me, don’t ever do any black campaign and destruct the reputation of other candidates,” said the Bali Governor.

In the election to take leadership of Bali which will be supported by coalition party, he doesn’t want simply to win but to win honorably.

In relation to names which have been proposed by the coalition party, especially Golkar, Pastika said that they still could not decide who will be fit and could be chosen as Vice-Governor.

He still needs to see the electability and issues raised on the vice-governor candidates.

Golkar party proposed four names that will accompany Pastika, they are Badung Regent, Anak agung Gde Agung, Gianyar Regent, Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati (Cok Ace), Vice-Chief of Bali Parlement, Ketut Suwandhi and Karangasem Regent, Wayan Geredeg.

Regarding to the names of possible people who will accompany him, Pastika said that those names will be re-discussed with the coalition party to seek suitability while meetings has been intensely done by the coalition party.

“Although they put the decision on me, regarding with who is the Vice will be discussed together and I will choose a person who can be the Vice,” said the ex-Chief of Bali Police Department.
