2,57 Million Tourists Visited Tanah Lot

Tanah Lot located in Tabanan Regency, was visited by 2, 57 million tourists both domestic and foreign from January to December 2012.

The number of visitors was more than last year which was 2, 3 million people.

The increasing number of visitors was surprising to the management because on the beginning of the year they decided to increase the entrance fee.

The new cost made them set a lower target of visitors last year that aim at anticipating less visits because of cost increasing.

“This achievement is quite uplifting, that’s why we always try to provide comfort to the visitors,” Tanah Lot management staff Ketut Toya Adnyana stated.

He stated that so far the visits level on work days is 6.000 to 7.000 people.

Meanwhile, number of visitors on the weekend is around 10.000 to 15.000 people.
