Immigration Office Deports 12 Illegal Chinese Workers
Indonesian Immigration Office of Singaraja, Bali has deported 12 illegal Chinese workers who work as technicians at the steam power plant, Celukan Bawang in Buleleng, Bali.
“We deport those 12 Chinese migrant workers since they don’t have work license from the Manpower affairs Ministry or related authorities,” said Head of Immigration Office of Singaraja Filianto Akbar here.
Akbar added the Immigration Office has warned them to complete the prerequisite to work in Indonesia, such as the limited stay permit and labor license.
“But they didn’t, as they just have visit visa, however we have warned them to complete the conditions as migrant worker in Indonesia before,” he said.
After this case, Akbar was claimed to keep monitoring the placement of migrant worker at the steam power plant Celukan Bawang project to avoid the fraud of foreigner’s stay permit in his immigration office work area.Filed under: Headlines
