The project is almost 90 percent laid over the water with pontoon pilling pattern.

In relation to environment impact caused by the big project, Wiwin assured that the project doesn’t destroy the environment because the excavation and dredging done with limestone method.

“It is proved with many wild mangroves grow, many people fishing and many birds catch fish around. I believe that the advantage of this highway is huge and environment damage is zero,” he said.

Wiwin further added that the road of 16,4 kilometer in length and 14 meter wide based on the prior plan is budgeted up to Rp1,7 trillion and the contract is Rp1,5 trillion.

The highway could be passed by four wheels or more vehicles. However, a line for two wheels vehicle has been prepared.
