Fengshui and Harmony Through Smell
By S.BS. Surendran
The way that a house is placed on a piece of land can pre-determine to a large extent the luck of the occupant’s and the possible manifestations.
The key to good Feng Shui is awareness, and mindful observation of each area of an environment. This will reveal both its weaknesses and its assets and give us an opportunity to either counter or enhance the effects. A problem may be something as simple and obvious as a plant that needs more room to grow, or it may be the more subtle influence of a badly directed angle from an adjacent building. Elements such as windows or even garden views can become assets to an environment when they are positively enhanced in accordance with the principles of Feng Shui.
The art of Feng-Shui is a system attempted to guide the flow of energy or Chi. According to Feng Shui principles, chi is a tangible force that gives way to physical manifestations when it flows freely or hinders physical manifestations when it is blocked. A practitioner uses Feng Shui to read the energy movement in a home or office and restructure the movement to enhance health, harmony, and abundance.
Every home holds good and bad energy. The minute you begin remodeling, you begin changing the balance. If you unwittingly expand an area of negative energy, you could soon find yourself experiencing an onset of overwhelming misfortune, conflict, anxiety, loss and even ailments.
Just as the seasons change, so do the energies in your home hence Fengshui emphasizes on the fact that Nothing in this universe remains static, hence all buildings go through lucky and unlucky cycles. Classical Feng Shui which is a predictive art can calculate what kind of energetic changes will occur in a certain time frame and advice you on how to minimize unlucky cycles and maximize good energy periods throughout the year.
Feng Shui is commonly believed to promote positive health, positive social relationships, self-confidence, creativity, prosperity, contemplation, and respect for others.
To activate a sense of feel good factor and harmony in a home could activate the sensory system by creating the right feel through smell.
