XL to Renew Networking Before APEC Summit

PT XL Axiata Tbk renews its existing network by increasing its capability in welcoming the APEC Summit in Bali this year.

“The focus of network renewal is on the 3G network,” said the Vice President of XL East Region Titus Dondi in Kuta.

Besides, he added that he prepared network condition that is available for international and domestic call so that its service becomes better.

The aim of the network renewal is for providing comfort in communication for the delegates or APEC Summit participants with cheap price.

“We could provide a cheap communication service as we cooperate with the Axiata group in the world in terms of roaming fee,” he said.

Not only preparing network, he also had added infrastructure to strengthen the service and networking facilities by adding BTS along Ngurah Rai Airport to Nusa Dua, which is the location of the great event.

The additional BTS is certainly accompanied by increasing capacity so that the network performance is faster.

“The addition of BTS is on the VIP channel from Ngurah rai Airport to Nusa Dua and various areas of attraction that might be visited by the delegates,” he said.

During this year in the area of Bali and Nusa Tenggara will be added approximately 500 more BTS.
