Feng Shui Synergy for Prosperity

By S.BS. Surendran

To gain wealth and prosperity, the Feng Shui advises a right attitude and the supportive condition in terms of energy movement. When flow of chi in your home or workplace is blocked by obstacles it hinders prosperity and growth. Removing obstacles and freeing energy is a process of adapting Feng Shui.

If the aim is to acquire true wealth and prosperity, we require an environment that works with and not against. To achieve prosperity, one of the first steps in applying Feng Shui is to remove all clutter from our life and from our environment. The negative energy held by dead plants, broken and damaged furniture and uncompleted projects does not contribute to expanding wealth and well-being. Clutter can also be defined as anything unfinished, unresolved or unused.

In addition to removing obstacles, Feng Shui involves the accumulation or introduction of positive energy. When certain items are placed properly, they draw in the good energy that contributes to prosperity. From positive motivating objects and symbols of wealth, to coins and family photos, a variety of objects can play a role in manufacturing the right type of energy in your home.

Prosperity and abundance circulates through the universe and through all our live. It is a never ending flow of giving and receiving. Many associate prosperity with financial wealth but true riches are of many kinds. Along with material wealth there is also love, friendships, family, health, knowledge and spiritual wealth which is essential in our lives.

Feelings of craving and dissatisfaction do not contribute to prosperity but in turn give rise to negative chi causing imbalance not only in our immediate surroundings but within ourselves too. In utilizing the principles of Feng Shui, it is appropriate to concentrate on gratitude, which, in turn, creates a sense of abundance.

It is said that “Giving leads to receiving”, hence whenever something is given away, would be better to consider it a gift, and not expect anything in return.
• If you want happiness then share happiness with all you meet
• If you want peace then live a peaceful life
• If you want love then give love freely and from your heart

Feng Shui demonstrates two objectives primarily on how to surround yourself with symbols of prosperity and wealth and how to imbue your environment with positive, forward-moving energy. Both, acting together, will help you bring to fruition your goals.
• One of the best representatives of a long and prosperous life in Fengshui is the golden dragon turtle. It attracts prosperity to your business and improves relationships with those around you. Placing  a golden dragon turtle in the Southeast of an office or business facing toward the door is said to invite the kind of Chi.
• Further one could enhance the South East corners of the living space with indoor plants to enrich the wealth potential.

Small bells made of metal hung outside the front door (if it faces between the North and the West compass directions) symbolizes “ringing out the coming of prosperity and good news”.

Our prosperity is really a reflection of our thoughts formed by the perceptions of the outer world. Hence harmonizing our inner self and our immediate surroundings can open the channels to achieve greater prosperity and abundance in our lives.
