Miss World Participants Have Chance Visiting Besakih Temple

The contestants of beauty pageant “Miss World” have chance to visit Besakih Temple in Karangasem regency, Bali on 11th September, 2013.

This is confirmed by the Chair of Miss World 2013 organizing committee, Nana Puspa, accompanied by Director of Syapril Nasution, in Amlapura, Karangasem, Regency on Tuesday.

The committee also observe the biggest Hindu temple located on the slope of Mouth Agung as preparation of Miss World contest on 2nd -14th September 2013 followed by selected ladies from 132 countries.

On the visit to Besakih Temple, the contestants of Miss World have to wear Balinese traditional attires.

Besides Besakih Temple, the contestants also will visit Tanah Lot in Tabanan Regency and several tourist objects in Gianyar and Badung Regency.

On the ritual in Basakih Temple, they will be accompanied by the holyman (Jero Mangku), Head of Culture and Tourism Department of Karangasem Regency I Wayan Purna, Assistant II Regional Secretary Karangasem Regency I Made Sujana Erawan, and local community figures.

The contestants will stay in one of hotels at tanah Lot, Tabanan regency and in quarantine period on 8th – 14th September 2013.

The opening of the annual world beauty pageant will be held in Nusa Dia, Badung Regency, on 8th September 2013.

Finally, all contestants will be departed to Jakarta on 14th September 2012 for the final round at Sentul, Bogor, West Java, on 28th September 2013.
