Australian Died in Bali, Suspected for Overdose

Lord Toby (38) an Australian was found died in front of a house lobby at jalan Merta Agung No. 20 Pengubengan Kauh, Kerobokan village, North Kuta district, Badung Regency.

Toby was found died at 07.00 am, Sunday 29th September 2013. Toby was not alone. With him, Macule Olaide Sara (36), a Spanish woman, was found dying.

Toby was strongly suspected died because of overdose. Meanwhile Sara is a bit luckier. She was found dying in one of the room at the house owned by I Ketut Sudiana (59).

“Some say that they were drunk. But what made them drunk is still unclear,” said Made, a staff who evacuated the victims on Sunday.

The body finding was began from ambulance staffs of BMMC Kuta clinic came to Pengubengan area and told that there were two foreigners who were drunk in the house located at Jalan Merta Agung Number 20.

The staffs then got a member of traditional security (pecalang) AA Budiarta (37) to enter the house together. “When they came in, Toby was lying down at the lobby. After being checked, he was died. Meanwhile the woman was dying in the room,” he explained.

Later, Budiarta called Sudiana as the landlord to tell him the incident. Sudiana directly reported the case to North Kuta Police.

Policemen from North Kuta Police came to the location to investigate the place and ask for information from the witnesses.

The Head of Criminal Reserse North Kuta Police, IPTU Dewa Anom said that from the result of outer examination, there is no signs of any violence on the body. He couldn’t explain the cause of the death. “For a while, the cause of the guest’s death is still under investigation process,” he said.
