Residents of Munggu village, Badung Regency, held a tradition called Mekotek. This tradition was held on Kuningan holy day. In this ritual tradition each resident bringis a long Pulet wood. They then unite the wood’s top edge, and the other resident try to climb the united wood. Mekotek is believed to drive away evil. This tradition already held since 80 years ago.
