Swiss-Belhotel International Bali Shares Love Through Blood Donation
In February, Swiss-Belhotel International, a global hotel management company with seven hotels and resorts in Bali, hosted an event as part of the corporate social responsibility in Bali.
Using “ONE LOVE” as the theme of the event, Swiss-Belhotel International has held a blood donation as part of their global social activities.This event is held as a part of the 2014 Valentine’s Day activities.
This event was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2014, in Swiss-Belhotel Rainforest, on Jalan Sunset Road No. 101. This event was arranged and attended by the management and staff of Swiss-Belhotel International Bali Regional Sales Office, Swiss-Belhotel Rainforest Kuta, Swiss-Belhotel Bay View Nusa Dua, Swiss-Belhotel Segara Nusa Dua, Swiss-Belresort Watu Jimbar Sanur, Swiss-Belinn Seminyak, Swiss-Belinn Legian and Pat-Mase Villas Jimbaran and in association with the Bali Red Cross (PMI) started from 2 PM.
“We are really pleased to be holding this event which supports not only our employees dedication to their community but is also in line with our company philosophy of “Passion and Professionalism”, said Christopher MacLean, Area General Manager, Swiss-Belhotel International – Bali.
Regional PR & Promotion Manager – Bali, Teddy Manangka added, “For us, blood represents ”passion” which is one of the hallmarks of Swiss-Belhotel International. Passion also represents “love” which is why we are doing this in relation to Valentine’s Day. We also respect the Balinese religious ceremony “Rahina” and our event was coordinated to be held jointly with this. This is also a part of our support to the Red Cross who received so many request for blood, not only in Bali but also for the volcano victims in Sinabung and flood victims in Manado.
“ONE LOVE” blood donation in Bali alsoencouraged the in-house guests, foundations and media partners to attend and participate. We were also honoured to be visited by the Chairman of Bali Red Cross, Mr. I Gusti Bagus Alit Putra SH,S.Sos, Msi, together with the Secretary of Bali Red Cross, Dr. I Gusti Made Lanang Rudiartha, MHA.
The event was also supported with free glucose test provided by Siloam Hospital, free osteoporosis test from Anlene, and a giveaway from Surfer Girl.Filed under: The Island
