Sanur to be Funded Rp5 Billions to Develop its Tourism


Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) to spend Rp5 billion for the national strategic tourism area (KSPN) of Sanur, Bali.

“We funded KSPN Sanur Rp5 billions to arrange the tourist areas at Mertasari Beach,” said Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Mari Elka Pangestu.

She said that the arrangement of KSPN Sanur is a government program funded by a number of ministries, including the Ministry of Public Works, in addition to local government as well.

“KSPN is indeed having stakeholders in Kemenparekraf, but it is also done together to organize the tourism area in order to be maintained and its supporting access is also more adequate,” she said.

“This area needs to be organized to be more attractive and adequate, so tourists are still interested in the island as the main destination,” she said.

Sanur is a tourist village that is progressing rapidly, but local people still able to preserve the art and culture in the region.

“With a touch of KSPN, this region in the future will become more attractive and tourists staying at the hotel in Sanur area will be more comfortable and expand their visit,” said Mari Elka.
