Bali Tourism observer, Ida Bagus Surakusuma reminded the components of tourism, especially travel agency (BPW) on the island to be more oriented to serve high quality travelers who have more money to enjoy a vacation to this region.

“It’s important, so that the increase of foreign tourists visiting Bali is able to have an impact on the economy and the welfare of the local community,” said Ida Bagus Surakusuma who is also Director of PT. Pacific World Nusantara in Denpasar, on Tuesday.

He said that he has been applying it for a long time, including serve the travelers during their vacation in Bali, in addition to enjoying the beauty of the natural scenery of the island as well as holding meetings and seminars.

Bali during the first quarter of 2014 received as many as 835,099 tourists visit that rose 14.87 percent compared to the same period in the previous year, which were only 727,013 people.

This significant increase is one of the positive impacts of successful implementation of the various meetings of world leaders held in Bali during 2013.

Other tourism observer, Dewa Nyoman Putra explained that 95 percent of foreign tourists visiting Bali will come again to the Island.

The conviction came after foreign tourists flying directly to Bali via Ngurah Rai airport during the first quarter of 2014 showed a significant increase, in fact usually during the early months of the year only few people from international community traveling abroad.

But specifically for Bali, tourists from Europe and the United States whose economic conditions have not recovered a hundred percent from the crisis, more and more have traveled to the island, so did the people from South East Asia  region.
