Feng Shui for Wellness

Feng Shui (pronounced Fung Shway) has evolved into a tool to fine tune our aspirations in life to activate specific aspirations.  Wealth, Health, Fame, Career and Love are the essential and integral part of our daily life and Feng Shui enhances the prospects of such needs.

The place of dwelling and our immediate surroundings have a great impact on many of our aspirations like  relationship, career, wealth and health. The study of aligning your space to ensure that the occupants are not affected by an imbalance caused by these elements by locating suitable sites, rooms, positions, placement of doors and windows through the adaptation of Vaasthu or Feng Shui is the key to a good home or office.

In the modern day town planning and layouts, it would be a little too difficult to locate sites which would meet the traditional concepts but one needs to look out for the surroundings and buildings which do contribute for the quality of the Chi. Everything in the Universe is energy. All life forms, including humans, are comprised of subtle electrical fields that affect vital functions such as growth, metabolism, health, thought, emotions and movement. At the quantum level, the human body composed of ions, minerals and water is a conductor of electrical energy hence harmonizing the living space is of vital importance.

The main areas of the building one would generally look for when you adapt Traditional Fengshui is afflictions from hostile surroundings, orientations, plot and soil, alignment of main doors and windows, Kitchen hobs, Bedrooms, Toilets and orientation of work desks in office, allocation or rooms and auspicious sectors for the staff and management.

Feng Shui reminds us that in order to prosper, we need to be healthy. The Feng Shui of your kitchen – especially the stove – can have a big influence on your health and finances too. In Feng Shui, the stove is your “wealth generator.” It is the most important symbolic factor in your ability to prosper financially, so make sure it works properly. Any problems with the stove can indicate problems with money or limitations to your ability to bring home a good income. A burner that doesn’t heat could be a sign of fruitless effort, and an oven that runs too hot could be burning up your money and your physical energies too. Dirt and grime are also signs of negative energy, so be sure to keep your stovetop and oven clean.

Energy keeps changing every minute, the effect of temperature changes, solar energy and magnetic fields have found to be having a strong influence on the human mind and body. Over a period of time it’s quite common to accumulate things which could contribute towards creating blockages and stagnation not just in your personal life but even affect your career and work. Feng Shui mitigates such obstacles through periodic fine tuning and re-alignment of the space which ensures that any time period based afflictions or man-made blockages are identified during the process of Feng Shui corrections and corrective measures adapted.
