The Bali police sealed a house in Badung where an Australian man in his 50s was found dead on Sep. 26, 2022.
An Australian man in his 50s was found lifeless at his residence in South Kuta this morning, police said, adding that heart attack might be the cause of his demise.
The body of SPJ, 56, was found at his house in Putra Bali Hill residence complex in Badung at around 9:30am. The Denpasar Police spokesman I Ketut Sukadi said that initial findings suggest that the Aussie drew his last breath on Saturday.
“Preliminary findings suggest that the victim died of a heart attack,” Sukadi said, adding that neighbors smelled alcohol on SPJ’s body when they found him.
Two witnesses named Ni Wayan Perni and Komang Remawa were the first ones who suspected something was wrong when they came to the house this morning to clean the victim’s pool.
The cleaning services noticed the front door was unlocked and the victim did not respond when they called for him. They also smelled something foul from inside of the house before finding SPJ lying face down on the floor.
There were no signs of injuries on SPJ’s body, according to the police. Some medicinal drugs and three bottles of vodka were taken as evidence.
