What’s the greatest lesson life has taught you?
Respect each other’s religion to create peace.
What’s most important?
Staying healthy to live for a long time.
What advice would you give the younger generations?
I’m proud of the young generations since they are really smart and they have a lot of knowledge about new technology. I’d just advise them to pursue a better life than the life of my generation.
Are you worried about dying?
Yes. I don’t want to die before I reach 80. That’s why I run every day and exercise to stay healthy, so that I can live for a long time.
When was the happiest time of your life?
I’m always happy when I work. I enjoy my job so much.
When I didn’t have enough money to send my children to university.
What’s humanity all about?
We live to respect and love each other.
Why are there so many conflicts in the world?
It’s because of the way humans are. Some people behave very bad.
Is a peaceful world possible?
I think so.
How old do you feel?
I feel like I’m only 50 now because I’m healthy and strong.
Is one lifetime enough?
No, it’s not. As my religion has taught me, we will reincarnate and we will live another life. One lifetime is not enough.
How has Bali changed?
Bali has developed very much. The education is also improving.
Has tourism been good for Bali?
Yes, it has.
What’s the major difference between the East and the West?
Basically they are the same. The differences are within the person’s behaviour; it doesn’t matter where they come from. There are bad and good people everywhere.
Have you ever doubted your religion?
What makes you so sure about it?
Because I pray every day and I can find peace whenever I pray.
