Government of Badung regency, Bali, planned to build a round road along 4 kilometers to parse the traffic congestion in the area of Tanjung Benoa.
“We have budgeted Rp350 billion in 2015 master budget for round road along 4 kilometers and width of 3 meters,” said Badung Regent Anak Agung Gde Agung in the technical coordination meeting to discuss Development and Tourism Arrangement Plan of Tirta Tanjung Benoa in Mangupura, on Tuesday.
He explained that the development of tourism destinations in the southern part of Badung primarily in Tanjung Benoa with the activity of the tourist attractions of special interest, such as turtle conservation with water tourism attraction, requires the availability of infrastructure facilities especially roads.
To respond to the expectations and aspirations of the people of Tanjung Benoa, in which since 2005 the condition of the Pratama road is very narrow while the mobility of people and goods is very dense, causing serious congestion at water tourism attractions.
Gde Agung expected that the ring road may unravel the congestion problems.
Badung regency with relevant agencies such as the Highways Agency and the local Marine Fisheries Department is conducting intensive communication and coordination with the central government related to technical planning and financing of the plan.
