Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika will soon invite the various components related to the pros and cons in the area of Besakih temple to be National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN). The meeting will be held on 5 November 2013 at the Jayasabha Hall, Denpasar.
“We invite the various components of community, including the customary village of Besakih, Karangasem. The goal is to hear all the inputs. I do not have a personal interest in KSPN,” said Governor Pastikaafter Bali Parliament plenary session, in Denpasar, on Tuesday.
Indeed, several parties are concerned with the determination of Besakih and 10 other areas in Bali as KSPN, in which there will be an establishment of entertainment and sports facilities that will pollute the spiritual values. In fact, Besakih is a large temple that is sanctified. It had raised the issue of fear that there will be golf courses, cafes and hotels.
“Who will make the hotel? I also asked the cons parties, which part is rejected? Let’s think a bit clearer; do not just reject any ideas. Which part is rejected?” Pastikaasked.
With various issues that are judged to be true, the former police chief of Bali invites all community members to think clearly toward certain problems for the sake of progress of development and maintenance of the area in Bali. If the place is purified, it is unlikely anyone will dare to pollute it in any form.
