Tourists visit to Bali Rises 16.66 Percent

Bali received a total tourist arrivals of 2.08 million people during the seven-month period from January to July 2014, increased by 16.66 percent over the same period at the previous year was recorded 1.70 million people.

Country that supplies tourists to Bali the most is Australia which is 541.008 people, an increase of 18.10 percent over the same period at the previous year recorded 458.109 people.

Australia was able to provide a contribution of 25.90 percent of the total foreign tourists who take a holiday to the island, following China that supplies 330.172 people increased by 45.78 percent over the same period at the previous year only 226.494 people.

Panusunan Siregar explained, tourists from Malaysia are ranked fourth rose 20.78 percent from 103.639 people in the first seven months of 2013 to 125.173 people in the same period in 2014.

South Korean tourists are also increasing. It is recorded that 81.785 travellers from South Korea, an increase of 12.31 percent over the same period in 2013 recorded 72.820 people, the people of Singapore who enjoy the natural scenery of Bali are 104.921 people, up 47.78 percent over the previous period was recorded 79.997 people.

British who traveled to Bali recorded 70.012 people during the first seven months of 2014, increased by 9.57 percent from the same period at the previous year recorded 63.895 people.

Tourists from France recorded 68.825 people, an increase of 11.11 percent over the same period at the previous year 61.946 people and 64.560 people of the United States, up 9.44 percent from the same period at the previous year 58.989 people.

“While there were two countries where its people’s number to Bali was decreasing. Japan with 111.305 people, decreased 2.42 percent from the earlier period that reach 113.715 people and Taiwan decreased 4.12 per cent of the 74.036 people to just 69.504 people,” said Panusunan Siregar.
