Sun, traditions, exotic cocktails… Bali Island attracts millions of tourist each year. Once in your life you should experience it. The weather in Bali is ideal from July until September due to the dry season (sunny days and not so much rain).
Bali is wealth of numerous natural resources. Trekking there is more than a must; the 6 volcanos range going from 1350 until 3014 meters high is simply awesome. Plenty of sunrise trekking are organized around the Mount Batur (1 717 m) and the Mount Agung (3 031 m). Through the centuries, the numerous eruptions left a fertile ground. It is the paradise for the food lovers as you have plenty of fruits (papaya, banana, watermelon, passion fruit…), veggies, rice fields, tea, coffee, tobacco, cocoa, vanilla… And the Balinese food culture is absolutely amazing.
A multitude of flowers and plants perfume the air, All year round the flowers are flowering which makes the island ever more beautiful and welcoming. Flowers are also used every day for the offerings. The temples are full of history and all different. The most famous are Besakih temple, Tanah Lot and the segara giri dharma kencana temple in Menjangan Island. When you go to a temple it is not unusual to see men and women with traditional clothes going to pray.
In Bali, you truly travel, from the landscape, food, traditions and activities. Tourism is the Bali strength. In ten years, the economic growth has been at its best. Bali is now a developed iland welter than before; therefore, inequalities are still remaining. In some part of the island, Balinese are still living from fishing and agriculture. It is interesting to see both sides.
Sensation sport, nice walks, visit, massages, exoticism (fruits, plants, animals), Bali offers you all you can dream about. The natural beauty seduce more than one that’s why in the central Bali (Kuta, Seminyak, Petitenget, Nusa Dua), you find a lot of nice restaurants, villas, spa as well as trendy shops.

Caroline, have you ever been to Bali? If you have been here, you will know that the main town in Central Bali is Ubud, very far away from the south-west coastal resorts of Kuta, Seminyak, Petitenget and Nusa Dua is in south-east, right at the start of the Bukit Peninsula, south of the airport. South is not central. If you want to write more about Bali, there is plenty of material at http://www.mydestination.com/bali
